Suzanne Rieter

North Regional Director

Suzanne Rieter is our current North Texas Regional Director and serves on the State Board for Odyssey of the Mind, Texas. 

Mrs. Rieter was introduced to Odyssey of the Mind in 2006 when her daughter joined a Primary team. From there, she helped establish a program at a charter school in Florida where she coached a team for several years. In 2010, her family relocated to Arlington, TX where she presented Odyssey of the Mind to a local Charter School her children were attending and convinced them to establish a program at the school. For the next 6 years, she coached a team and judged at the Texas Odyssey Tournaments all the while remaining the OotM coordinator for the Charter School. She has served as problem captain and the At Large position on the State Board. She also had the privilege of Shadowing the World Finals Tournament, learning the ins and outs of how the entire program operates. 

Suzanne is a local Realtor® in the DFW area. She has two amazing children (one who judges and now coaches), and a very supportive husband (and judge) to help her along the way. 

She is very open to creative minds finding ways to improve our local membership, training, and our Regional Tournament. Should you have any ideas you would like to share, please reach out to her.
